Final documents are signed, any regulatory items are completed, and process begins to launch the first Burger King® store in the territory.

How much does it cost to open a Burger King?
The initial investment varies by location and format, but typically requires starting capital ranging from €700.000 to €1 million . Burger King® supports franchisees with expertise, consultants, and supplier networks throughout the opening process.
The franchise contract established between Burger King® and the Franchisee covers the following terms:
Initial Franchise Fee and ongoing fees, including royalties and marketing contributions, are tailored to each partner’s investment profile and market opportunity, ensuring a fair and growth-oriented partnership.

How does the Franchisee selection process look like ?
The selection and, subsequently, affiliate path to become a Franchisee of Burger King®, is divided into various phases, lasting about 2 or 3 months. The part of the process is also the Background Check: we rely on an external company that carries out a verification, lasting one month, of a judicial, professional and reputational nature on the candidate. If it's okay, you become part of our team.
What are the financial requirements to become a Burger King® franchisee?
Franchisees should have at least €120,000 in available funds to cover part of the initial investment. The remaining costs can be financed through bank credit.
Do I need to have my own location to open a Burger King® restaurant?
There are two options — a franchisee may propose their own suitable location, or Rex Concepts can share a selection of recommended projects and available sites for development.
What is the standard term of a Burger King® franchise agreement?
Franchise agreements are signed for a 10-year initial term, with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement and performance.
